  Do not use the forum to request original files

  Many players already asked in the forum to get certain original files of CS2D. This is the wrong approach because it takes long and you will bother most people there. So please do not ask in the forum. Read on to learn how to restore the original files! It is easy and just takes a minute!
  
  

  Simply restore using the ZIP-archive

  • Download Counter-Strike 2D as ZIP-archive (no installer!) @ the download page
  • Use WinRAR, WinZIP, 7Zip or another unpacker to extract all original files you need
  • Replace your modified files in your CS2D folder with the original files from the zip archive
  • Done! (you probably have to restart Counter-Strike 2D to see the changes)
  
  

  Hint for the future

  Make backups of the original files before you replace them. You can rename them for example or move them to a backup folder!
